Designed by Robert Harris and built by Pheon Yachts, Newhaven, in 1980, using a GRP hull and deck moulded by Northshore Yachts, Itchenor. Naomi was the second Vancouver 32 moulded by Northshore.

Engine and electrical systems
Bukh DV24SME marine diesel and saildrive leg (both new 2001) driving a 16in MaxProp feathering and reversing bronze propellor (refurbished and balanced by Darglow Engineering in 2001).
2 x 100a/h sealed deep cycle service batteries and 1 x 80a/h engine starting battery, charged via a diode splitter and a 75 Watt BP Solar Panel (new 1997). 2 x Digital voltmeters with +/- alarms and 1 x combined amp/volt/amp hr meter. Separate engine RPM/Water Temp/Oil Pressure instruments and an engraved domestic switchpanel with contact breaker switches. 300 Watt Sterling inverter.
